It is with great pleasure that we bring you the first release at Serein, by Canadian artist Muhr. Five tracks in all comprising sampled instrumentation, field recordings and carefully layered sound synthesis. A conceptual follow up to his release at Miasmah, Muhr has once again managed to deliver a beautifully sparse and organic sound that is becoming very much his own. We look forward to hearing more from him in the near future!

Subject: relaxing yet leading
"tsuriai part 2" and "september dies" are soooo good. then again, so are the rest. dang, it's good. i'm listening again now. hoo yeah. pretty music. oriental mountain folk james bond music with a hard beat? no, can't be, there's a musicbox hiding in there. let's just say i wish this were on my label instead of this new serein thing, ok?
